Welcome to Friends of the Huachuca City Library

Located in beautiful Cochise County, we operate a used bookstore in order to provide financial assistance to the Huachuca City Library for expenses not budgeted by the Town of Huachuca City. Friends of the Huachuca City Library is a government recognized nonprofit organization. Our organization promotes library use, literacy, and volunteerism in general. Besides monetary donations, we also provide other services when requested by library staff. Members of our Friends group are all volunteers. You can find more information on our About Us page.

Flora M. Jackman Library is its official title of the library building, and we were previously known as the FMJ Library Friends. Our address is 506 Gonzales Boulevard, Huachuca City, Arizona.

Sunset City Books

Sunset City Books is located in the Conex (green metal building) just northwest of the library. Our book store is open on the third Saturday of every month, except December. Sales are held inside the library when the weather is inclement.

Book Store Hours

Because of Arizona’s extreme heat, our hours of operation vary. Please check the Events page for up-to-date times.

Did You Know?

If you didn’t make it to our monthly book sale, you can buy our items inside the library! We offer a wide variety of books and CDs just beside the entrance. Our stock is continually updated. Every purchase you make helps us to assist the Huachuca City Library in its community endeavors!
